Cavendish and Fabric Update

I want to first share with you an interview that Claire Legrand did with me for her Cavendish blog tour!  It was a real honor to get interviewed by her.  She is so amazing and talented.  There is talk about bat amongst other things.   Look at these bats!!  Claire put them in the interview.

You can read the interview here at The Hiding Spot!  Claire is also doing a giveaway(!!:D) for a copy of the book, so if you go to the bottom of the interview you can enter!  Many thanks to Sara at The Hiding Spot for hosting it, and to Claire for interviewing me!  If you haven't Pre-ordered The Cavendish Home for Boys and Girls, you can!  It is release on the 28th!  We are so excited.  The cover has shiny stuff and is textured and hardback, ahhH!! :D

And, my Cushion & Dust Fabric will be releasing in September with Blend Fabrics.  It has antique chairs, frame clusters with skulls and birdcages.  I don't know how I convinced them to keep the skulls in;)  If you would like to order it for your shop, you can click here and go to the sales sheet on the right.  If you would like to buy some to make things, Hawthorne Threads has already reserved it for their online store!

Timber and Leaf will be released in December this year.  I am especially excited about this set.  There are foxes and woods and deer, oh my.  Haha.

Hellohead!

A few months back I was asked by illustrator Lucy Joy to contribute to Hellohead.  Hellohead is a really cool exhibition where illustrators were asked to draw a portrait of each other.  My assignment was Lucie Sheridan.  She is a super talented illustrator out of the UK.  Below is the picture of her I was given and my piece. It of course, has a slightly creepy edge to it;)  You can find her illustration and mine on the Hellohead site here!  Take a look at the others!  Some of my favorite illustrators were invited, including Pietari Posti and Gemma Correll.  I am very honored to be a part of this show.  The actual exhibition will be selling the artwork to raise money for the National Autistic Society.  Many thanks to Lucy Joy and Rosie Shorter for putting this awesome show together!  If you'd like to go to the opening, and will be in the UK, it will be held at Cargo in London, from 6pm on Wednesday August 22.  Since I am across the pond I won't be able to, but I will be there in spirit!
