I opened a store on my website. I will add new stuff to it periodically.
I wanted to share a new commission piece I did this week that has a cool story. When I was in college I was commissioned by a Brock family friend, Daniel, to make a piece of the Brocks celebrating their new baby. Four years later Michael Brock came back to me to commission a new piece of them(to surprise his wife:) with their kid growing, and their new baby included. It was so cool to have this happen. It is neat to see how my work has changed a little over the years. I also loved this assignments because Michael gave me creative freedom. Both have a slightly creepy undertone, of course. And I am on a serious bike kick lately, so I had to include one of my flame-piped cycles, haha. If you want a piece commissioned by me, I am in. I love personal work that means something to people and that they can keep for a long time.
In other news I am excited to be starting my first picture book. More news about it later when I can! Annnd, if you have not signed up for my Newsletter and would like to, click here. I just sent the first one this week!
I had to share some images that Lianne Castravelli sent me. She made her whole kid's nursery out of my Feather N Stitch collection. I love it! And she made a mobile shaped like the birds in the Bird Duet print. Look at that little baby:D:D
I also attached some other goods that I found on the intranets using Feather N Stitch!
This tote can be found on Billy Button Creations
This wallet can be found here also.
These fat quarter bundles can be found at Sally's Sewing Box
This is from LinniPins
And this girl's dress is from Sprock It
I look forward to sharing my next collection-it is more tied in with my current illustration look. So excited!!
