Scoutmob's Hand-picked: Grits!

Today Scoutmob launched their Hand-Picked shop!  They are cooking up some of my art prints for sale, the first up for sale is the "Atlanta: We Put the Ritz in Grits."  I made this print to celebrate my love for grits and Atlanta, haha.  So, if you would like to buy one from Scoutmob with a shipping discount, click here!  They came to my studio and took some photos too;) Please someone tell me the great grit spots in Atlanta, so far Fying Biscuit is my fav.  Can I get paid to taste grits around the country?

Surtex 2012- first post

This year, I will be exhibiting at Surtex.  I have been dreaming about this since I first learned about it while interning at Carter's.  Surtex is another reason I left my job, so there would be no conflict of interest.  For those who are unfamiliar, it is a big convention for licensing patterns and artwork for product.  I will be covering a booth with mostly new work and printing books of it, and companies walk through and make connections and licensing deals with the designers.  Some of it is trend focused, and some boutique.  Everything from giftware, to bedding to apparel, there are around 6000 companies that walk this floor each year.  It's pretty legit.  I am so excited, and a little nervous.

I have a ton of new art to display.  With this will come a website revamp when I get time.
My work is also slightly shifting with this, I still have the work everyone is use to, but I also want to market my patterns and licensed work to a more high-end, Anthropologie kind of vibe.  We'll see how it goes!

Yes I love Instagram.
