Society of Illustrators and Communication Arts Typography

I am super pumped to announce that I was recently chosen for both of these annual publications this year.  I actually haven't submitted in a while because I wanted to really be passionate about some new work.  It payed off!  When Society called me to tell me I was cussing a bit from excitement.  Haha!

Communication Arts Typography:
The cover design that I illustrated to The Cavendish Home for Boys and Girls, written by Claire Legrand, published by Simon and Schuster, got into the Communication Arts Typography annual.  Its focus is to curate pieces that have type and lettering as the main visual element.

Society of Illustrators- Illustrators 55:
The Memoir Wall pattern I did for my Cushion & Dust collection through Blend Fabrics was chosen for the Institutional category for Society of Illustrators.

The cover and lettering design that I of The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, written by Muriel Sparks, published by Penguin UK, got into the book category for Society of Illustrators.  I hope to attend both institutional and book shows early next year.
