sandwich
Today I woke up late for work. I made a meatball sandwich to take for lunch. I put it on the floor in a bag. In a frenzy to find a matching sock, I stepped on my sandwich and fell. I was very upset. Needless to say, I went to work with one plaid sock, a striped christmas sock, a mushed meatball sandwich, and a half-cocked smile...Life is funny.

spare change. elephant girl
Greetings.. here to share stuff.
This is inspired by this old woman back home that was homeless, but supposedly she was rich and was too crazy to realize it. It was strangely a treat to see her roaming, because she was sort of a legend.

This is Elephant Girl. I want to turn her into some type of series. I'll figure a place for her sometime.

On another note, Scott and I went antiquing again this weekend. We found a lot of really cool stuff. We didn't buy anything, just took pictures. I am starting a collection of salt and pepper shakers..fun stuff.

type!

I love doing hand type, so I've been playing a lot with it lately. I got some sweet books, one is called New Vintage Type and the other is called Handjob. They're both great books and have taught me some cool stuff. Anyway, I love Beauty and the Beast so I did a poster design for that story, and then a card saying hello. At Carters I work in Illustrator, which I use to really dislike Illustrator but now I realize that it's really awesome, and has a lot of advantages. Plus shortcuts are a blast, I feel like I'm playing piano, haha.
