Hello fellow blog onlookers. I have been going through a rather large transition as far as the direction I want to go in my work. In the process I have learned that my blog is hungry and needs some skippy treats (dog food, if it were a dog). So here are a couple of things I've been working on. I've been attending the Illustration Academy. I am learning a significant amount of information. The Academy, along with my Ringling education, has been great. I am realizing that I am definitely leaning toward a more stylized approach to my work. I am reverting back to my childhood and discovering the things that make me me, and applying them to my work. I feel that who I was before I learned the "technical" way to draw is what I'm searching for, and applying what I know now to that being. My childhood and life experiences with people are most important to me, and I felt lost as to how to express it. After three years of confusion, I feel something surfacing that finally feels right.
